Effective Contaminant Filtration
The Boneco P500 excels at removing a wide range of pollutants from the surrounding air supply, and it can effectively trap particles down to 0.3 microns in size.
Therefore, it reduces the pollution levels of many common contaminants, including:

- Odours and smoke
- Bacteria and viruses
Advanced Four-Stage Filter
To remove so many pollutants, the P500 uses a four-stage method that starts with a washable pre-filter and ends with a granulated carbon filter.
- Pre-Filter - Captures large dust particles and hairs to ensure optimal usage of inner filter layers.
- Allergy Filter - Removes allergens such as pollen and dust mites
- HEPA Filter - Removes over 99% of all particles over 0.3 microns.
- Carbon Filter - Reduces odours, smoke and organic particle levels.
For best results, Winix recommends replacing the internal filter whenever the replacement indicator lights up on the interface. Typically this happens every 8 - 12 months.

Adaptive Sensor Technology
Alongside its multiple filtration stages, we’ve been impressed by the Boneco P500’s inbuilt particle sensor, which, when active, can assess the air quality of its surrounding environment.
The sensor is most effective when the P500 operates in AUTO mode since it can independently alter its fan speed based on the air quality it detects. As a result, the P500 can quickly purify polluted air without manual intervention.
Additionally, the unit converts the air quality information it gathers into an air quality reading. An indicator then displays the reading across eight segments which are coloured either white or red. The higher the number of white indicator segments, the better the air quality is.
High Clean Air Delivery Rate
Rounding out the filtration package offered by the P500 is the ability to alter the fan speed. There are a total of five settings available, and the highest level, “5”, offers the best filtration performance.
When used on the “5” setting with an ALLERGY filter, the P500 can produce a particle CADR of 258 m3/h.
Additionally, in rooms sized 30 m², it can complete four air changes in an hour. However, the air change rate will be faster in smaller spaces. For example, in rooms up to 26 m², it can complete five air changes in an hour.
Aroma Diffusion
Alongside its purpose as an air purifier, the P500 also acts as an aroma diffuser by adding a desired fragrance onto a diffusion pad. The fragrance is then circulated throughout a room to create a pleasant living environment.
User-Friendly Interface
One great advantage of the Bonceo P500 is the intuitive touch interface. Designed to be easy for anybody to use, it allows for quick and complete control over the unit in a couple of taps.
