The Blueair HealthProtect 7770i is a powerful air purifier, suitable for use in rooms up to 149 m² in size. As a result, it performs well when used in large spaces such as open-plan kitchen-diners, living rooms and offices.

Effective Contaminant Filtration
The HealthProtect 7770i excels at removing a wide range of pollutants from the surrounding air supply, and it can effectively trap particles down to 0.1 microns in size.
Therefore, it reduces the pollution levels of many common contaminants, including:
- PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 particles
- Dust, pet dander, pollen and mould
- Odours, smoke and VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds)
- Bacteria and viruses
Advanced Four-Stage Filter
To remove so many pollutants, the HealthProtect 7770i uses a four-stage method that starts with a pre-filter and ends with Blueair’s unique GermShield plasma technology.
- Pre-Filter - Captures large dust particles and hairs to ensure optimal usage of inner filter layers.
- Electrostatic treatment - Charges particles making them easier to trap.
- HEPASilent Ultra™ Filter - Removes 99.97% of all particles such as dust, pollen and mould spores.
- GermShield Technology - Neutralizes bacteria and viruses through plasma charges.
For best results, Blueair recommends cleaning the pre-filter regularly and replacing the HEPASilent filter whenever the filter replacement indicator lights up on the interface. Typically that occurs every 6 - 12 months.
Additionally, the HEPASilent technology has been independently tested at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) to achieve the HEPA H13 filtration grade according to standard EN-1822.
Adaptive Sensor Technology
In our experience, the 7770i’s four-stage system is incredibly effective at removing pollutants. However, it shines best when used in combination with the inbuilt particle sensor through AUTO mode.
When set to AUTO mode, the HealthProtect 7770i can independently alter its fan speed based on the detected air quality. Therefore, during periods of low air quality, it can increase the speed setting to reduce pollutant levels swiftly.
Additionally, the unit converts the air quality information it gathers an air quality score. The interface then displays the score, and an LED indicator shows the general air quality by changing its colour to either blue, green, yellow, amber or red.
High Clean Air Delivery Rate
Rounding out the filtration package offered by the HealthProtect 7770i is the ability to alter the fan speed. There are a total of four settings available, and the highest level, “3”, offers the best filtration performance.
When used on the “3” setting, the HealthProtect 7770i can produce CADR’s of:
- Pollen CADR: 735 m3/h
- Dust CADR: 675 m3/h
- Smoke CADR: 735 m3/h
Additionally, in rooms sized 149 m², it can complete two full air changes in an hour. Such a high air change rate is made possible by the 7770i’s SpiralAir technology, which expels air in a 360° radius.
User-Friendly Interface
In terms of user experience, the 7770i is second to none, and if desired, it can be controlled remotely through an app. The app grants remote access to all functions and monitoring metrics, making it easy to tweak settings based on data.
Alternatively, it is also possible to control the unit through a high-quality LCD touch display interface. Thanks to its intuitive design, the interface makes it easy to change settings quickly and provides clear feedback on surrounding air quality.
Additionally, the LCD style of the interface allows for faster response times and detailed information feedback.
Quiet & Efficient
Beyond being easy to use, the HealthProtect 7770i is quiet when active, and its HEPASilent Ultra™ filters produce 10% less noise than traditional HEPA filters.
While operating at its lowest fan speed, it only produces 27 dB of noise. That’s equivalent to the sound of rustling leaves, making it suitable for use at night time.
Matching those quiet noise levels, the HealthProtect 7770i is also very power efficient. When active, it only requires a maximum of 72 watts of power. As a result, it’s cheap to run, even for extended periods.
Certified Allergenic Relief
Last but not least, the Blueair HealthProtect 7770i is certified by multiple industry bodies, including AHAM (Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers and Energy Star.
Therefore, it can alleviate symptoms caused by strong allergies to airborne particles such as dust or pollen.
