De'Longhi Pinguino PAC ES72 Portable Air Conditioner Very pleased with the performance of this air conditioner. It’s been a godsend in this recent hot weather. The only slight negative is the length of the exhaust hose. If it was slightly longer it would be perfect.

It's okay I'm glad I have it. The room is cooling down at night, when I use it, and allowing me to sleep. Also, I was reluctant to buy from this company being small and online only, but I was a bit desperate and went for it. Service was smooth, delivery on time, communication good, product arrived in working condition. I am a bit disappointed with the product itself. The hose is quite stiff, not really that long, and it's outlet is quite large. I was hoping I could push it through my letter box but it's too big. My windows are at a normal average height, the happening about 1m 20-30 over the floor, and it's a bit of a strain. I have had to put the air con on a platform for it the hose to reach comfortably. Again with the large outlet, it means the window has to be open wider than I had hoped. It takes a while for the room to cool down. Also, as the unit is restricted due to the hose, I can't point it towards the centre of the room. It has to point along the wall and then I need an additional fan to distribute the cold air around. This set up does work but I had hoped for more. It is also noisier than I expected, but I checked on my phone and the decibels match as specified. Apparently this is one of the quieter units. It works however. I'm reassured that this is one of Which?'s recommended best buys. But I was just hoping for more for the price that I paid. The hose needs to be longer, with an adapter to help you fit through different sizes. Some form of window sealing device wouldn't go amiss either. I can live with the volume in this heat. I'm in Central London surrounded by concrete. It gets very hot.
